Leveraging industry-leading firsts in VoLTE, VoWiFi, Advanced Messaging (RCS), Multi-ID, vEPC, and Virtualized RAN, Mavenir accelerates network transformation for more than 250 CSP customers in over 120 countries, serving over 50% of the world s subscribers.Role SummarySoftware QA Engineer: Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing. Survey Tip: Non-engineer roles that are primarily performing audits and tests of software products in accordance with established test plans and procedures and are not involved in the development of test plans should be matched to Software Test Technician (8281-8285).Key ResponsibilitiesWork Experience Level - 4 Yrs to 10 Yrs>Kubernetes and associated tech and tools. (ELK/EFK stack/kibana/grapha).> Knowledge about Openstack preferred. Virtualization technology like VMWare, KVM is also desirable.>Scripting knowledge in Python, Shell is needed. Helm and Heat scripting with good understanding of yaml syntax is preferred. Linux fundamentals understanding is must.Functional test exposure/expertise in IMS core, 5G-Core or RAN is preferred along with good platform exposure as mentioned above.Job Requirements

  • Writing Terraform templates to provision the infrastructure on Openstack & AWS.
  • Writing the Ansible Playbooks for integrating the CSF components
  • Deploying and Managing the Kubernetes cluster.
  • Managing ingress traffic pattern for Kubernetes services.
  • Validating the Helm chart on Kubernetes and ComPaas environment through GUI.
  • Openstack Orchestration using Heat template
  • Bringing up the Kafka, Zookeeper and Schema-Registry apps on VNF environment.
  • Used Jenkins pipelines to drive all micro services builds out to the Docker registry and then deployed to Kubernetes, Created Pods and managed using Kubernetes
  • Install, Configure, Administer Jenkins Continuous Integration Tool.
  • Involved in Defect Logging and Defect Management in JIRA.
  • Openstack administration and maintenance.
  • Worked on writing tests in robot framework and then able to work them in Jenkins pipeline.
  • Test scripts, execution and fixing on static environment and then integrated them in Jenkins pipeline.
  • Installation of Openstack services on a bare metal server.
  • Support Lead developers with Configuration Management issues.
