Job Title: SMTS Server performance engineer Location: Bangalore, India Qualifications: BTech/ Masters/ PhD in CS/ EE with relevant course work, with 11- 14 years industry experience. AMDs server performance group is looking for highly talented engineers help steer the design of AMDs next generation server SoCs. In this role, you will analyze server performance in the context of scale- out workloads in the data center (such as databases, analytics), virtualization, enterprise, and high performance computing. A major portion of this role requires hands- on work in the server performance lab, where you will work with AMDs latest hardware platforms, tuning them to maximize performance, identify HW and SW bottlenecks, and assist architects in inventing and evaluating new features for future designs. As part of this role you interact closely with benchmarking teams, power analysis teams, SoC architects, IP architects, SW optimization teams and silicon bring up teams.
