Job ID: JR0173633Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireSOC Design EngineerJob DescriptionIn this position you will be part of a world class Networking Ethernet NIC SoCs design team responsible for physical design and development of the state of the art Network Interface Controller IPs and SoCs for the Ethernet Product Silicon Engineering Group. This is a great opportunity to join a talented team and will include lots of product innovation on cutting edge process technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving fullchip, subsystem and/or IP level physical design execution from Bangalore site. Activities will include, but not be limited to, RTL Synthesis, Physical Design, Design Convergence, Timing and Reliability/Physical Signoff (EM, IR, DRC, Antenna and so on). Some of the selected candidates may also be involved at times in methodology development/customization for RTL2GDS construction and signoff flows. Vertical assignments such subsystem floorplan, STA, physical integration are also available for candidates with prior skills on the chosen specialized domain. The candidate will get to closely collaborate with Frontend teams developing the same IP product as well as physical design teams in other locations, viz. Israel, Ireland and US.QualificationsSolid track record of taping out multiple chips on advanced process technology nodes such as 7nm 10nm Hands on have experience on industry standard EDA tools such as Synopsys DC ICC2 Fusion Compiler or Cadence Innovus along with Synopsys PrimeTime Mentor Calibre is mandatory Thorough technical understanding of backend challenges such as place and route on advanced process nodes Static Timing Analysis for high frequency designs formal equivalence check low power design methodology and verification etc are highly desired skillsCandidate should possess good communication skills to thrive in a multicultural environment and be capable of providing status updates to Sr Management Should be able to manage ambiguity and schedule challenges Must be a team player Candidates with experience in leading end to end physical design of IP and Subsystems will definitely have an edge Bachelors with 8 Years or Masters with 6 Years experienceInside this Business GroupThe Data Center Group (DCG) is at the heart of Intel s transformation from a PC company to a company that runs the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.
