Job Description

    * Education & Experience BE/Btech in Electronics/Electrical/Automotive/Mechanical with 6 - 9 years of experience Job Responsibilities
    • As a Software BTV (Release & Approval coordinator), you are the central SW interface between the respective transmission development projects, the car line assigned to you, the ECU and software suppliers, logistics, certification and all production plants, aftersales in all markets.
    • In This Role, you are responsible for scheduling, monitoring, ensuring the approvals and industrialization of transmission Software in all vehicle plants and ensure timely SW release into the series.
    • You are required to be in direct contact with partner colleagues for SW use in their series (Eg AMG, CO operation projects etc). You will need to know the software series from the first test vehicle to the first production vehicle to the aftersales area
    • You are required to interact and collaborate with other Powertrain controllers on Release Conformity, Best Practices and overall vehicle development
    • You are expected to support engineers across projects in any activities which require inputs related to release details and part numbers in production or planned for production.
    • You are expected to analyze and optimize the existing software release processes.
    • You represent the department / project in all higher-level software release management topics.
    • You should be highly independent in a highly dynamic, sometimes ambivalent, demanding field of work with high responsibility, towards interdisciplinary and interactive work on our innovative products
    • You are expected to interact with fellow SW release co ordinators in india and Germany, to understand and implement best practices and lessons learnt.
    • You are an ambassador carrying the responsibility of the role with the best possible endeavour
    • You are expected to understand and seamlessly use all necessary tools and databases required to execute the role to the fullest satisfaction.
    • You are expected to develop and use extensive knowledge regarding variants either in existence or planned with specific focus on engine variants and different geographies where the roll out is planned.
    Skills ( M Mandatory )
    • (M) Hands on experience in handling complete Software projects to the extent to know the full SW or product development and release lifecycles not restricted to quality processes, PPAP, and approvals.
    • (M) Hands-on experience in Product Data Management (PDM)
    • (M) Basic knowledge of various software features / functions preferably in powertrain domain.
    • (M) Should have good analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to handle large part number data, including formatting, processing and reporting information as per need.
    • Capable of working independently on a given task
    • Ability to converse in German language is an added advantage
