*Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience., *We are looking for an energetic, engaged, and technically strong Member of Technical Staff with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems.The Application Developer Service team s charter is to build fully managed, cloud native services focused on simplifying the development of Mobile and Web Applications using Oracle s Gen 2 Cloud. The service work scope encompasses not just good integration with OCI s native infrastructure (security, cloud storage, etc.), but also deep integration with other relevant cloud native services in OCI (like Oracle Kubernetes, Functions, API GW, ATP etc.). It includes doing cloud native ways of doing service level patching & upgrades and maintaining high availability of the service in the face of random failures & planned downtimes in the underlying infrastructure (e.g., for things like patching the Linux kernels to take care of a security vulnerability). Developing systems for monitoring and getting telemetry into the service s runtime characteristics and being able to take actions on the telemetry data is a part of the charter.As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications according to provided design specifications. • You will partner with others in our development team to implement solutions within a distributed computing environment.
• You will collaborate with others on the team to ensure systems under development are aligned with other systems our team is responsible for including security, identity, metrics, and others and assist in the deployment of distributed systems.
• You will assist in supporting operations for the systems that our team owns.
• You will contribute to the creation of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure feature set.

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years engineering experience in a software development environment Development experience in C, C and/or Java as well as scripting languages
• Experience working in an agile developer team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
• Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment.
• Understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment
• Familiarity and understanding of distributed computing and cloudbased platforms
