Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. You will enable the Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Execution planing, Automation and Manual test verification on various OIT SDKs, C/C++, JAVA, .NET and Javascripts API, customer use cases and bug verification.The candidate should apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software engineering architecture to perform software test development tasks associated with developing, executing & debugging issues pertaining to OIT components. He/She is instrumental in build enhancements within an existing software engineering architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.Job Requirements The candidate will be involved in manual & automation testing of OIT and its components on supported platforms viz Linux/Unix and Windows etc.Candidate Should possess a very good knowledge of Scripting lanugauage like PERL, PYTHON, shelll/batch scripts for Test case automationCandidate should possess a very good understanding of C/C++, core java, javascripts applications as he/she will be involved in test development activities pertaining to various product development projects.Hands on experience with Test Development Infrastructure such as TestNG, Junit, Zolsoft scripts.Regular check-in/check-out processes of test scripts to the source control, viz GIT.Compilation of automated tests using the continuous integrator Hudson/Jenkin using build tool Maven.Additionally the candidate displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures.Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. Additional Details Preferred Skills and Background1)B.E / M.E / B.Tech in CS or equivalent or MCA from reputed universities with consistently good academic record, 2)3-6 years of experience in Software product testing or test development field.3)A good understanding of File formats and content processing will be an adventage.2)Hands-on experience on following:Programming Language : C/C++, Python, Perl, Shell/Batch scritpingLanguages : C/C++, Core Java(Basic), Javascript, Dot.Net frameworkBuild tools : Maven, Ant, Hudson/JENKINS (Continuous Integrator)Operating System : Operating systems viz Unix/Linux and Windows etc.3)Exposure to automation tools such as TestNG, Zolsoft, QTP, Silktest, Selenium etc.4)Some Exposure on installing and configuring Oracle Fusion Middleware products on unix platforms.5)Excellent Analytical, verbal and written communication skills.As a Senior QA Engr of OIT QA Group, you will:1)Understand Design and Functional Specifications of OIT and write/execute Test suites for these components.2)Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.3)Work closely with developers, QA Lead, product managers, support team to ensure completeness of test cases, bug fixing and increase code coverage.4)Participate in defect and issue resolution process5)Develop, enhance and integrate automated tests into release/build frameworks.6)Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback7)Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.8)Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs9)Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts10)Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategiesDetailed Description and Job RequirementsDesign, develop, troubleshoot and debug OIT SDKs, API and components programs etc.As a QA Engineer of the OIT engineering team, you will defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.
