*Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. • Work in OCI for Atlassian Confluence and other applications.
• Understand and debug code, including necessary performance enhancements and underlying architecture
• Design, build, test, and release Java-based solutions to enhance the core Jive application.
• Program REST API based applications.
• Experience in writing APIs.
• Experience in handling large distributed systems and complex algorithmic programs.
• Work in UI based solutions involving Jquery, Javascript, CSS etc.
• Engage with Business Managers and Support teams to identify defects and enhancements for the product.
• Analyze business and system requirements and recommend technical strategies.
• Integrate and implement plugins and add-ons with the other systems
• Day-to-day administration of the applications including various meeting with the business teams.
• Mentoring and adherence to standards for Java development, web content management, tuning and Diagnostics.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Solid understanding of the JIRA/Confluence architecture and the underlying APIs. Knowledge of Plugins/Web hooks/Add On Architecture is must.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle database and SQL queries
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end IT process, including architecture, design, implementation and operations
• Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Strong application design skills and implementation understanding of identity management and security.
• Ability to take feature/design through the software lifecycle to release robust, high-quality, production code
• Strong written and oral, technical communication skills required.
• Strong REST API based programming skills.
• Strong Java coding and diagnostics skills required.
• Strong knowledge of JEE architecture and relevant frameworks.
• Experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies.
• Strong REST API based programming skills. Ability to design RESTful services and integrate with other data providers. Understanding when to use JSON or XML.Proficient understanding of Continuous Integration and deployment and tools chain like GIT, Nodejs/Yarn, Jenkins, Maven etc.
• Experience working in cloud based applications. Knowledge of OCI is a plus.
• Experience to lead offshore teams around product implementation is a plus.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts to different audiences in writing and conference calls.
• Ability to take feature/design through software lifecycle to release of robust, high-quality, production code
• Open to Technologies and learning new.
• Flexible work times to enable working with team members in other time zones (Early and/or Late conferences)
