Job Description

Responsibilities:Subject Matter Expert on technical environment/ tools for own area of expertiseSubject Matter Expert on business processes and procedures, as well as broader organizational issues and technologyPrimary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of analysis, design, hardware or software support and/or development of technical solutionsWork with business users to clarify ETL requirements and business rules for implementation of solutions and problem resolution.Understand pre-designed insurance-specific target data models, meta data layer and data marts and ETL processesLead a team of ETL developers, Sr. ETL developersDesign, develop, implement, troubleshoot, optimize, and tune ETL processesCreate and execute unit test plans based on system and validation requirements.Ensure that all timelines of loading/validating data are met.Primary:1. Good understanding in the ETL Advanced concepts and administration activities to support R&D/Project2. Experience in understanding of different ETL tools (min 4) and Advanced transformations, Good in Talend, SAP BODS to support R&D/Project3. To be able to resolve all ETL code and administration issueSecondary skills4. Ability to resolve complex Reporting challenges.5. Ability to create full-fledged dashboards with story boards/lines, drill down, linking etc.; design tables, views or datamarts to support these dashboards6. Ability understand, propose data load strategies which improves performance and visualizations7. Ability to performance tune SQL, ETL & Report, UniversesTo understand Sapiens Intelligence Product and support below points1. Understands the Transaction Layer model for all modules2. Universe the Universe Model for all modules3. Should have End to End Sapiens Intelligence knowledge4. Should be able to independently demo or give training for Sapiens Intelligence product.5. Should be an SME in Sapiens Intelligence as a ProductRequirements:

  1. 3- 5 years of IT experince.
  2. Should have experience to understand the Advanced concepts of Insurance and has good command over at least all Business / Functional Areas (like NB, claims, Finance et al)
  3. Should have experience with developing a complete DWH ETL lifecycle
  4. Should have experience in developing ETL processes - ETL control tables, error logging, auditing, data quality, etc. - using ETL tools such as Talend, BODS, SSIS etc. Experience or knowledge in Bigdata related tools like (Spark, Hive, Kafka, Hadoop, Horton works, Python, R) would be good to go
  5. Should have experience in developing SAP BO or any Reporting tool knowledge
  6. Should be able to implement reusability, parameterization, workflow design, etc.
  7. Should have experience of interacting with customers in understanding business requirement documents and translating them into ETL specifications and Low/High level design documents
  8. Experience in understanding complex source system data structures preferably in Insurance services (Insurance preferred)
  9. Experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling and Data Mart design
  10. Strong database development skills like complex SQL queries, complex stored procedures
  11. Good verbal and written communication in English, Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  12. Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
  13. Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites across the globe
