Job Description

Job DescriptionMandatory Competencies

Hands on experience in EDC17 or MDG1 platform

Responsible for Function and SW development of one or more software sub-systems of an Engine Management System
Requirements analysis: Good requirement elicitation skills
Function Design: Proposing solutions for meeting requirements/change request and breaking down of requirements to specific software functions
Providing quick prototype solutions, as well as implementation of robust series solutions

Good understanding in ECU SW project lifecycle and tools.
Good in debugging, testing and investigation skills
Experiences in handling an Integrator role.
- Integrate all changes or implementation planned for the delivery
- Do required configuration and resolve interface issues by discussing with FnD.
- Perform Integration test, BFT, FT etc
- Locked FC analysis, Q-state tracking
- Preparing and presenting PDC for each delivery
- Delivering the software by following all process guidelines
Experience in Hardware and EEPROM configuration.
Good understanding of Embedded Software Development in Automotive domain

Experience in using change management and version management tools (like RequestOne, SDOM, etc)
Experience in using tools like, ECU.WorX, Provisor, MARS, Inkscape, BlueDocu
Experience in using HiL testing environment (LCPT)

Desirable Skills

Know-how of ClearCase
Experience in software container creation
Experience in function development
Experience in software development for CAN, Diagnostic testers etc
Hands on experience in ASCET-SD
Automotive system knowledge (ECU, Sensors, Software) and technical mindset
Embedded design and development experience
Awareness of Hardware, Hardware & Software Interface, Software Development Models
Experience in working with International /Inter-Cultural teams
Excellent Communication, coordination and Interpersonal skills
Experience in developing automation test scripts (e.g ECU-TEST)
