Autodesk is looking for an Engineering Manager to join Sales Territory and Commission Integration team within the Digital Enterprise Services IT organization. This team leverages Software Engineering and DevOps principles to optimize the company s business critical systems and processes through building re-usable platforms that enrich and improve overall Autodesk employee experience. Do you thrive in an environment where you can work on engaging and challenging projects Do you have a start-up mentality If this sounds like you let s talk.ResponsibilitiesYou will: Be a leader to a team of 6-8 software engineers working within a Scrum framework on high quality solutions in response to Stakeholder requirements Should have strong technical skills in data warehousing tools. Is a geek to find data insights and have a passion to solving difficult problems Should have foresights to understand technical requirements coming in from business users and help explain to the team members in plain English Go out of the way to help the customer and making sure they get whatever they are looking for Manage the performance of your team by communicating clear organizational goals and removing the impediments Inspire and motivate team members to improve productivity and foster creativity while maintaining healthy work-life balance Promote a culture of continuous improvement through ongoing feedback, coaching and tracking the performance. Support individual training and career development Oversee both the software development process and technology to help make the right decisions while driving the improvements and adjustments Work with product owners, software architects and key stakeholders to draft release plans for software delivery Foster cross-team collaboration to accomplish organizational goals Be the spokesperson for the team and champion their accomplishments with upper management and adjacent teams Be comfortable working with globally distributed peers and team members Be comfortable working with team members who are working in a hybrid-remote model (where not all employees come to the office regularly)Minimum Qualification Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline Strong experience in Data Warehousing skills. Should have experience working in integrations and reporting tools Good Business understanding of Sales Planning and Sales Commission processes to be able to guide and mentor the team Experience in Sales Commission, Planning, finance, etc is a strong plus for this position 5 years of experience analyzing data, finding insights and in Data Warehousing and ETL tools. 3 years of experience leading teams of mid and senior level software engineers Deep understanding of all phases of software development lifecycle from analyzing the needs to delivery of working software Understanding of Agile software development principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Demonstrated experience managing software development teams responsible for delivering products or services to customers is a plus Experience in managing complex software projects with dependencies to other development teams and timelines is a plus Experience in fast-pace product delivery and agile practices is a plus Experience in SFDC, Anaplan and other ETL technologies is a plusAt Autodesk, were building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
