In this highly visible role, you will collaboratively engage in an organization-wide tools transformation process. Youll play an important role in improving team member productivity and product quality by supporting DevOps principles such as application deployment and optimization, process automation, and continuous integration, deployment, and testing. At Dell EMC we value your creativity and innovation in developing solutions to difficult problems.Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive transformation and modernization of tools suites used by the engineering organization
  • Gather requirements and define solutions to transition tools while ensuring business continuity
  • Understand the complex integration and business rules of the tools in day-to-day operations
  • Identify, plan, and execute tools migration and transition plans
  • Collaborate with other organizations to align tools directions and drive common tools plans
  • Provide tools support for the engineering organization, focusing on reliability, uptime, and overall system performance
Essential Requirements:
  • Strong experience administering one or more of Linux, networks, and database
  • Experience in administering Source Code Management tools, specifically GIT (GitHub)
  • Experience in administeringbuild/release engineering and artifact management tools Jenkins, Artifactory
  • Experience in administering engineering requirements, development, and test tools Jira, Code Review tools, Static and Dynamic Code Coverage tools
  • Programming and scripting skills in one of more languages including JavaScript, Bash, Perl, Python, REST API
  • Solid understanding of troubleshooting and problem analysis procedures; ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
Desired Requirements:
  • Familiarity with virtual environments VMWare, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
  • Self-starter; ability to quickly learn complex systems, identify problems, and drive to resolution
  • Experience working with global, diverse, and remote teams
  • Experience in Software Development process, tools and training
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to work with global teams and internal customers
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited university or equivalent (certification and/or experience) with 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
