Strategic Operations is currently hiring Software Development Engineers to develop leading edge applications for CSG s DevOps initiatives using Microsoft Development Tools.Position Details:The Software Development Engineer Lead is responsible for leading, designing, analyzing, coding, supporting, documenting, and debugging complex applications for CSG s DevOps initiatives. The Software Development Engineer Lead is expected to be a leader and to lead the design and development of complex solutions. The Software Development Engineer will work with an international team of developers, testers, product managers, project managers and business analysts. The Software Development Engineer Lead will be part of team that follows agile methodology that emphasizes teamwork and close collaboration with business owners. It is committed to continuous improvement in how software us developed and hires like-minded individuals that thrive in such an environment.Expectations and Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with the application development teams specifically with technical team members to develop a shared vision and execution for application event management.
• Partner with the application teams to analyze complex application logic and design and communicate elegant and pragmatic event management architecture.
• Be the champion of coding standards and patterns and review code deliveries.
• Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine the feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the organizations products.
• Must have a minimum of 7 years of related work experience good portion of it designing/architecting/solving problems.
• Work on stories and perform active hands-on development and delivery.
• Be involved in all aspects of the application development and delivery.
• Solve business problems in a timely and robust manner.
• Work within a cross-functional Agile team to develop new components in a highly iterative fashion. Involves close collaboration with product owners and QA.
• Develop critical components that make up CSG s core product using Microsoft Development Tools.
• A passion for software development with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
• Designs, analyzes, writes code, supports, and debugs CSG s applications.
• Ability to work within a cross-functional team to develop enhancements in a highly iterative fashion. Involves close collaboration with product owners, developers, testers and operational engineers.
• Develops high impact, widely used applications where end-user expectations are high as it relates to process flow, effectiveness, and responsiveness.
• Knowledge of OOP/OOD concepts.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery process, industry standards, and best practices.
• Experience working with version control using Git.
• Active participation in planning, retrospectives, daily scrum, demo and team design meetings.
• Ability to communicate with product owners, developers, testers, operational engineers, clients, and end-users in a manner that helps continuously enhance the overall usability of the applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a technically related field or equivalent experience.
• 7 years experience preferably working with Microsoft Development Tools.
• 7 years experience in the following technologies: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, JSON, SQL Server, automated unit testing and OO design.
• Experience in Scrum / Kanban environments within an Agile framework.
• Desired: experience with Azure or AWS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins CI.
• Beneficial skills include Web development.
• IT knowledge in software development methodologies/processes, design, implementation, and documentation.
• English verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
• Is a Plus: the following any of tech stack: BMC Remedy; JIRA; Confluence; DevOps; Chef; Java; Angular; React, *nix Shell; Python; Docker; AWS S2, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Kinesis, AWS DynamoDB, AWS API Gateway.
