Job Description

Come join a creative team of Data Engineers, as part of Engineering & Architecture in Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB).We work on building and maintaining predictive data quality and governance solutions for managing the quality, integrity and validity of the firm s data by applying statistical approaches and machine learning techniques.Job Responsibilities

  • Candidate will be working on cutting-edge strategic data quality and governance framework being developed using off-the-shelf third party applications and internal tools.
  • Collaborate as part of a global and diverse team, with clients across the globe.
  • Communicate with varied stakeholders across business, architecture and technology teams to design, deliver and manage innovative DQ solutions using both vendor applications and internal tools.
  • Understand and manage operational processes, work closely with the business stakeholders & operations partners, collect requirements, identify gaps and drive demand prioritization and change management.
  • Be a data storyteller, deliver data insights in compelling manner and articulate findings clearly and concisely via presentations, discussions and visualizations.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:
  • Passion for building an innovative culture
  • Curiosity, creativity, resourcefulness and a collaborative spirit
  • Interest in problems related to the financial services domain (specific past experience in the domain is not required)
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative, global teams
  • Proficiency in SQL, UNIX scripting and either Java or Python programming language.
  • Strong conceptual knowledge in relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with various data processing paradigms (batch/streams etc.) and related tools (such as ETL tools/ Kafka / Apache Spark etc.)
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with proven track record in business intelligence, analytics, big data implementation/ machine learning (ML) projects
  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following Data Quality or Analytics tools: Collibra OwlDQ / Informatica DQ/ Talend DQ, Tableau, QlikView or similar.
  • B. Tech, BE, MCA, ME, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed university/institute. Or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Source Code Control Systems such as Git, bitbucket, svn, etc.
Preferred:
  • Working proficiency in any IDE
  • Experienced in agile methodologies
  • Hands-on experience in developing and deploying highly available and scalable Docker-based applications in Kubernetes platform.
  • Experience in AWS services such as EC2, S3, EMR, MKS, Glue etc.
