Description: We are looking for an individual who is passionate about big data analytics to join our market research team. He / she will report directly to the Vice President , Market Research and focus on telecom market research and more specifically , handset market research. Joining a small team , this individualrsquos performance will directly impact the grouprsquos overall performance. Responsibilities: The position will involve developing software for analyzing massive telecom data for market research and maintain / improve existing ones. Typical projects will require building Microsoft SQL queries to mine multiple large - scale datasets , build Microsoft Excel or Tableau based workbooks to present the results (with interesting charts / graphs) and automate the process using Matlab and VBA. The candidate should train other team members in SQL , Matlab and advanced Excel. He / she would be required to manually identify new phones / tablets launched at various telecom carriers and collect pricing information for the same. Qualifications / Required Skills: Strong analytical skills and experiences in programming - preferably Matlab or C / C Strong SQL experience - experience in building SSIS packages would be a plus Advanced Excel with VBA skills Understanding of and passion for big data analytics Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively Entrepreneurial , curious spirit Strong attention to detail Three year plus working experience is ideal Passion for technology and smartphones Good team member Education / Experience Requirements: Engineering degree from a top university with a consistent record of academic excellence,
