Business Unit: Security Job Location : Bangalore Experience: 2 to 4 years Group Description (Security Product Group) The Security product technology team is responsible of driving technology leadership in Juniper s security products. The group is working on Junipers vision of next generation security platforms and security services Job Descriptions Be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Juniper security services. This is an opportunity to work on Juniper security solution IPS, DPI, along with platform tuning for extracting out the best performance for security services Work with product management and other cross functional teams to define, develop and understand functional & software architecture specifications to meet product requirements. Work with test teams for verification and compliance of the software so that it meets the customer expectations SW development in the areas of security services and platform optimization Design and develop flexible systems for both appliances and virtualized environment. Work with Technical support team for supporting escalations and sustenance of the product. Candidate Requirements: A strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices is must. The candidate should be dynamic, enthusiastic team player with a can do attitude. He must be open to fast changing technology, software development environments and practices. Strong C programming, data structures and debugging skills. Strong systems knowledge - understanding of multi - core and multi - threaded challenges, FreeBSD and/ or linux internals. Experience in developing software on L3/ L4/ L7 layers of networking is a Plus Knowledge and understanding of Firewalls, Network Security, Deep Packet Inspection and related technologies is a Plus Knowledge of Virtualization concepts is a a plus.,
