Job Description

Services Support is seeking a motivated professional with Developer acumen to join our team. The candidate should be experienced in working on complex projects. He/She should be able to plan, analyze, develop and conduct thorough quality tests to ensure that software operates properly, is defect-free, and meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. They should be able to document and work to resolve any problems/issues. Reports progress on problem resolution to Dev Lead. Devises improvements to current processes and develops models of possible future configurations. They should be knowledgeable of the Agile framework.Skills

  • Be an agile development team member, responsible for collaborating with the team on release planning, sprint planning, scoping, and engaging with customers.
  • Design and specify test procedures including unit, system, and integration testing.
  • Design application test data, debug programs using appropriate system tools and ensure features developed are accurate and meet the specification
  • Identify and communicate impediments to your team and actively work to remove them
  • Continually strive for technical excellence
  • Proven experience developing Java Spring based applications including Springboot and JPA/REST plugins.
  • Relevant experience developing for ORM technologies (JPA/Hibernate) and SOAP and REST based Web Services
  • Experience with CI/CD and scripting tools such as Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Linux shell scripts
  • Web based technologies such as Bootstrap, Javascript, JQuery, React
  • Experience with AGILE methodologies in addition to standard waterfall SDLC.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team and strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Experience in middleware platforms like SOA, MQ, JMS, BEA Product suite will be an advantage, experience in Level3 support/post production support for complex implantations/products, experience in full life cycle of development projects using SDLC processes such as waterfall, Agile etc and Experience working with multi-cultural & multi-national software development teams;
  • Excellent debugging& investigation skills for critical real world problems, ability to resolve them quickly and proven experience of delivering quality solutions in a fast-moving business environment.
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience with hands on development job position
