Job Description

The Software Engineer will be responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of Linux-based software and web-based products running on LAMP stack.

Job responsibilities:

  • Be a team-player to develop complex web-based applications
  • Maintaining existing codebase, to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features
  • Assist in gathering requirement and project specification.
  • Take ownership of daily project needs and communications.
  • Manage project tasks, timeliness and communication.
  • Development of robust and user-friendly web applications.
  • Routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications.
  • Training and mentoring junior web designers.

Must-have skills:

  • Algorithm and software design
  • Programming under Linux: C, shell-scripting, PERL etc.
  • PHP, MySQL on LAMP stack
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX

Good to know - one or more of these:

  • Server workload performance analysis
  • Linux system-administration, AWS IT administration
  • SEO Optimization, mobile websites
