Job Description

    Function:

    Role Summary/Purpose:
      Responsible to design and architecture the Operating system need for the Anesthesia and respiratory machines. Its maintaining the embedded Linux operating system and associated the drivers and board support packages.
    Essential Responsibilities:
        1. Build and customize the embedded Linux operating system for the target hardware family with modifications to the drivers according to the hardware interfaces
        2. Test the interfaces and expose the application level integration
        3. support the application team with toolchain building the debugging help
        4. support the build with multiple configurations for the debug/release/production environments
        5. streamline the need of operating system for multiple products.
        6. coordinate with application development team on day to day activities.
        7. part of the scrum team and responsible to deliver according to the plan.
      8. developing the test scripts and programs to verify the hardware.
    Qualifications/Requirements:
        Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
      A minimum of 6 years of professional and relavent experience
    Desired Characteristics:
        1. should have experience in the embedded Linux and yocto building engine
        2. should have the experience in the NXP application processor family i.e imx27/35/5/6/8 and respective BSPs
        3. Hands on experience in the Linux driver development in various modules, char/bus/block/netword drivers.
        4. Hands on experience in the programming languages like C, python, shell scripting
        5. should be able to understand the hardware schematic and develop the driver accordingly.
      6. should have experience in the debugging the Linux kernel
