You ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.Key Responsibilities:

  • Converting data to stories using advanced visualization techniques in Tableau to help with data-driven decision making and management reporting.
  • Assisting business users in coming up with the right data and visualization solutions for their requirements which will involve rapidly transforming raw data into actionable information using ETL, analytics and visualization tools and techniques.
  • Work in an extremely Agile environment with continuous user interaction
  • Empower business users for self-serve reporting by building robust domain and logical models
  • Designing software and producing scalable and resilient technical designs
  • Digesting and understanding Business Requirements and designing new modules/functionality to meet those needs
  • Analysis and build within Control, Stability, Resiliency, Capacity & Performance areas
  • Robust delivery of code into the production environment
  • Take part in decisions affecting long range organizational goals & strategic planning.
  • Proactively look to develop, implement and further develop best practices across the group. The areas of focus should include, but not be limited to quality improvement, code reviews, code/architecture standards, code reuse, and reduction of support calls, technical documentation and technical design specifications
Qualifications/Skills Required:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field.
  • Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills.
  • Practical working experience and expertise with Tableau
  • Experience in performance tuning Tableau reports
  • Knowledge around configuration of Tableau servers
  • Experience in sourcing data from multiple heterogeneous environments like GreenPlum, HDFS, SQL Server etc.
  • Strong Database/SQL skills
  • Experience in implementing visualizations using Java Script Libraries (D3/Angular/React)
  • Experience in Data modeling and building logical/domain models for reporting
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Process analysis and design
  • Experience working in a DevOps model
  • Experience in these technologies would be useful, however not essential:
    • User experience design
    • Big data technologies Hadoop/spark/Hive/impala
    • Core Java
