Job SummaryThe ETL developer will develop and deliver strategic data-centric applications. This role is to work with our Application Development and Business Systems teams to build and grow our data collection, transformation and analysis capabilities. It also includes significant enhancements to applications, strong understanding of application design and development.Responsibilities

  • Work closely with management and end-users to analyze, translate, document, requirements and develop ETL code as per the technical specifications and business requirements according to the established designs
  • Create source to target mappings and ETL design for integration of new/modified data streams into the data warehouse/data marts
  • Create ETL Processes and reports using Microsoft SQL Server Suite (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Validate the ETL design and ensure that technical specifications are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable.
  • Perform Data profiling and analysis of structured and unstructured data
  • Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution
  • Performance tuning of ETL processes
Desired Skills
  • Experience in Development, Customization and Deployment of complex SSIS packages using MS SQL Server.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2012/2016 including T-SQL/SQL programming and scripting.
  • Expertise in SQL Server 2012 / 2016 back-end development: Stored Procedures, Functions, Complex T- SQL queries and Performance Tuning.
  • Experience designing and building complete ETL/SSIS processes moving and transforming data for ODS, Staging, and Data Warehousing
  • Strong skills in Error and Event Handling. Experience in maintaining Batch Logging, Error Logging with Event Handlers and Configuring Connection Managers using SSIS.
  • Knowledge on designing Wherescape 3D and RED
  • Knowledge on Snowflake
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
  • 2 - 3 years of experience as ETL developer
