Be a part of our journey!As a junior Software Engineer supporting the Service Engineering Team at Poly, you will be part of a team that works cross-functionally, leveraging innovation and technology for developing applications and working with scripts & APIs to meet evolving business requirement as well as enhancing efficiency and interoperability of existing systems and applications.Your Day to dayDesign user-centred, thoughtful, and beautiful software user interfaces and experiences informed by customer feedback, usage metrics and best practices.Architecting and creating conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups.Writing and testing code and scripts, mainly for front-end and some back-end environments.Developing applications as defined by business requirements and strategic direction.What you bring to the teamYou are experienced with several different programming languages and frameworks e.g., ReactJS and NodeJS.Have good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SASS and LESS.Experience in using Figma, Adobe XD or similar design tooling.Experience in using Adobe Experience Manager would be an advantage.Experience in using REST APIs.Experience with GIT for Version Control.Experience working in Agile and Scrum frameworks.You understand basic networking (http requests, security tokens, etc).You have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and are a motivated problem solver willing to learn new skills to complete objectives.Proficient at being able to visualise statistics and mined data, preferred experience with web-based data visualizations (Grafana, ChartJS, Google Charts, High Charts, D3js).Experience with querying databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented design principles and most used patterns.Very comfortable with Linux and using shell commands in terminal.,
