Job Description

Would you like to work with highly motivated engineers delivering intelligent cloud and intelligent edge products We are part of Edge & Platform organization delivering various data ingestion solutions like Azure Data Box, disk import/export and future products. We also work on Azure Stack Edge, an edge-computing appliance managed from Azure. Azure Stack Edge brings the compute power, storage, and intelligence of Azure right to where customers need it whether that s corporate data center, branch office, or remote field asset.This team is innovating new technologies for ordering and managing edge devices from Azure in a safe, secure, reliable, and scalable model for our global customers across various Azure Geographies. We pride ourselves in developing the technologies which enhances the customer experience, helps in data ingestion to Azure Cloud.We are looking for an experienced software engineer to help us drive new initiatives in this space, from ideation to delivery. As a team, we are interested in smart, motivated individuals, with positive can-do attitude, who come to work with a smile and enjoy writing clean and elegant code. We value passion, creativity, teamwork, agility, accountability and desire to learn new complex technical areas. Candidates should have a strong Computer Science background with solid C#, Java, C/C++ programming, debugging skills, own the quality of your components and a keen aptitude. An unquenchable drive to write code and a passion for helping ship high quality software is a must., Qualifications

  • A solid background with solid C#, Java, C/C++ programming, debugging skills.
  • Experience developing Cloud Services or Restful services, or Distributed systems is a plus.
  • Great design and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting for performance, scalability, security and reliability.
  • Deep understanding of efficient data structures and algorithms.
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Development.
  • Bachelor s/Master s Degree or equivalent in Computer science or related field required.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a can do attitude a self-starter, project finisher and adaptive, collaborative.
  • Able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies.
