Job Description

Description

Infoblox is seeking a Sofware Engineer II (QA) to join our SASE Network Services Quality Assurance team working on cutting-edge technologies. Our architecture is a container-based microservices architecture using the latest technological advances. You will be a part of an Agile Quality Engineering team validating service-affecting functionality to ensure customer uptime. You will get the opportunity to work with the best of the technical and thought leadership team at Infoblox. This position will report to the Senior Director, Engineering based out of Santa Clara, CA. This position is based in our Bangalore, India office.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate various features and products in Infoblox s cloud-based architecture
  • Automate test execution wherever possible using industry or home-built tools
  • Collaborate with multiple cross-functional product teams
  • Communicate the testing status to team effectively

Requirements:

  • 5 years of software testing experience in testing Networking Products
  • Familiar with automation using Python, Perl, or shell and REST API testing
  • Experience with Networking Protocols such as - BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, SD-WAN
  • Experience with a feature, regression and performance testing of Networking (L2/L3/EVPN) and Security Services (Firewall, VPN, NAT)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, S3, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and general networking concepts
  • Familiarity with KVM, VMWare, Open stack
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and/or cloud deployment technologies

Education:

  • Bachelor s /Master s degree in CS, CE or EE is preferred
