Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe role is of a technical lead who is motivated to drive development teams and collaborate with the architecture teams, product owners, etc. to actively contribute to the development of new features, applications and services to support the business requirements in APAC. The role is expected to make a difference to the product in terms of the design and contribute towards identifying technical risks and alternate solutions to various problems. In addition to that, the role also demands to lead, motivate, mentor and provide ample guidance to the other team members with respect to technical challenges. Responsibilities: Active participation in various scrum ceremonies and contribute towards identifying technical risks, developing risk mitigation plans and supporting various teams Plans, participates and performs the technical work Responsible for managing quality of technical work Provides guidance on design, development, integration etc. to team members on technical aspects relating to the project. Leads the implementation, automated unit and integration testing, code reviews, and debugging Drive resolution with technical team to overcome technical barriers leveraging skill and working experience to accelerate the solution delivery Ensure delivery success by providing guidance, mentorship and technical expertise to development team across multiple projects Conduct technical proofs of concept and lead the design and development of software solutions to enable progress for development teams Candidate Requirement: Education & Experience levels: Bachelors in Engineering/Computer Science or Master degree or equivalent Industry Experience of around 7+ years Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor s in engineering or master s in computer science 7 to 10 years of experience in various development roles of which minimum 6 years experience in Web/Mobile Application Development using Java/J2EE related technologies; Experience in architecture / management / development of /Java/JEE based web/mobile applications based on micro-services architecture (using Spring Boot, REST APIs) Experience in Java application development frameworks and technologies: Apache tomcat, Jetty, Juice, Spring and JSON/XML/Ajax Experience of using on AWS cloud native services such as EC2, ELB, S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB and RDS Experience with databases (Postgres /MySQL /Oracle /NoSQL DB), persistence frameworks, and SQL Experience with GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins) Experience with containerization and container orchestration with technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Container Registries Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum and related tools such as Atlassian Jira Frontend development experience with Javascript, Ajax,Bootstrap, HTML 5, CSS, Angular JS and understanding of browser compatibility issues is an added advantage Strong in programming disciplines like Object Oriented principles, design patterns, data structures and unit testing (TDD using junit), Domain driven Design (DDD),
