Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The candidate should be a hands-on experienced QA Engineer who can work independently with minimum supervision to accomplish assigned tasks on schedule.
  • Successful candidates will have a strong testing background in both web based application and server side testing.

Qualifications

  • B.E / B.Tech in computer science/ Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3 years of software testing experience in a Test/QA organization.
  • Ability to devise test strategies, document test plans and test cases based on analysis of business requirements, functional requirements, and design documents.
  • Hands on experience in Whitebox testing and API testing
  • Expert in Python and Selenium.
  • Experience with testing RESTful data services, web services and APIs Experience in Web based (React, Redux, ReactNative components) test automation.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL queries
  • Good to have Load/Performance/Security testing skills.
  • Ability to identify, debug and clearly articulate software defects.
  • Experience in Cloud based application testing
  • Performance and Security Testing is an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of Windows, UNIX or Linux.
  • Exposure to Information Security is desirable
  • Must have a proficient knowledge of software development methodologies.
  • Agile development/methodology experience is a huge plus.
