Job Description

Working as part of a diverse agile squad you ll develop cloud-native micro-services driven by rich web components to migrate existing digital help experiences to our new ServiceNow platform and to deliver new user experiences on our transformational roadmap.You ll be able to think outside the box and learn new skills in response to rapid changes and business needs. You ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists focused on and dedicated to enhancing processes and building solutions to improve the experience of our users. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development practices is imperative.Youll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. Technical skills
  • Software Engineering background with experience in front end-technologies such as Angular or React
  • Experience in developing cloud native micro-services in Java, .NET Core or similar
  • Experience in automated testing to help drive CI/CD best practice
  • Experience in source code management using GIT, Bitbucket
  • Strong Agile experience using Scrum/Kanban methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
  • Experience of Jenkins pipelines
  • Experience of human-centered service design techniques and working with a large diverse user community
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Desirable
  • Experience of Pivotal Cloud Foundry and cloud computing concepts
  • Experience of Machine Learning / AI
  • Experience of ServiceNow
