As an Application Developer, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developingapplications within mature technology environments. You will utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programmingmethodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to thetechnical code documentation.You will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyzebusiness requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. You will participate in design reviews and provide input to thedesign recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, andunderstand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. You will also adhere to IT Control Policiesthroughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application designspecifications. Additionally, you will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements intoprogrammed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules. You will participate in code reviewsand ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application coderelatedissues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.Experience in ensuring successful design, development, testing, and implementation of application components for Chase online application using technologies including Core Java, J2EE technologies, web services, tomcat, servlets, JSP, Messaging;Experience in designing complex interactions between the client UIs and middleware systems using object-orienteddesign patterns, Spring framework, core java apis, Spring batches;Experience in following java coding standards and Knowledge of tools including SVN, Maven and Jira;Demonstrated experience with Java performance tuning to identify and optimize code, experience in multi-threaded/concurrent programming and databases including DB2;Experience in XML and Service Oriented Architecture; and,Experience in designing and implementing Restful webservices, unix jobs, writing stored procedures and testing theexisting application using Junit.Working with architecture and design leads across the Digital organization and broader JPMC organization onbusiness and technical and Database architecture of the platformDemonstrated experience with Java/J2SE with a deep understanding of the language and core APIs, web services,multi-threaded/concurrent programming, XML, design patterns, Service Oriented ArchitectureExperience with Servlets, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, SQL; Databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server; Operating Systemssuch as Unix Solaris; Products such as IBM WebSphere, Subversion, Axis, Spring Application Framework preferredFamiliar with modern infrastructure technology and architecture (cloud, virtualization, object stores, etc.)Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrityAbility to interpret system / business requirements and prepare specification and design documentFamiliar with modern technology and architecture (cloud, virtualization, object stores, etc.)- Should be able to lead and guide a team of developers- Should have good communication and interpersonal skills,
