Job DescriptionIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:As a Senior Software Group Manager in R&D, your responsibilities include the following:Lead a team of 8-10 highly skilled software engineers working in the Platform R&D department in an agile setup. Drive the team to ensure all business results are met, such as delivering new software features, enabling new hardware support, sustaining, involved in researching/defining strategic direction of software, and helping support team resolve customer critical issues. Manage continuous delivery of projects by driving project schedules through both direct ownership and delegation to team members. Collaborate with other teams to ensure customer success. Interact with technical leaders, managers & product managers to define, direct, and complete the evolution of software and hardware strategy. Mentor, develop and grow the career of team members. Effectively communicate with all product-line collaborators including upper management. Who You Are:You are a leader who is self- driven, shows tremendous amount of initiative and gracefully handles ambiguity. You possess strong leadership and skills and have a consistent track record of developing and implementing strategies to achieve organizational objectives.For This Role, You Will Need:B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MCA in Computer Science/ Electronics and Communications 12 to 18 years of industry experience. Prior experience of managing a team.Demonstrated understanding with the following technologies: Hands on experience working with C#, .net framework, .net core.Object Oriented ProgrammingDesign PrinciplesSoftware Architecture. Agile project management Experience with C and Linux development is a plus. Experience in leading the team to deliver project specs and deadlines. Clear and effective communication. Excels at conveying and communicating messages at the appropriate level of detail within a team/function/department. Strong sense of ownership. Effective in collaborating beyond department boundaries.
