Software Principal Engineer ValidationJoin us as a Software Principal Engineer on our Software Engineering team in India to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact. What you ll achieve As a Telco Enterprise Software Engineer, you will work with internal Global Offer and Product Operations (GOPO) stakeholders as well as Product Group (PG), Global Operations Engineer (GOE), Services teams, IT and others to deliver best quality product Validation to the market. You will be empowered to use your creativity, product knowledge, and programming skills to identify opportunities and push the boundaries of how we can deliver best Validation solutions to our Sales teams and the Customer.You will:The role of a Validator is to ensure all valid configurations of DellEMC products are orderable in our Sales tools, and that invalid configurations are not. To achieve this, you will:
• Attend core team meetings and proactively work with the stakeholders to learn about the product, help shaping the product structure, and design and implement Validation rules for the product.
• Test the Validation rules to ensure highest quality and ease of use for the sales teams.
• Meet your target dates and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as per lifecycle milestones and set metrics.
• Use your product knowledge, technical abilities, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and implement improvements in our processes, tools, and Validation standards.
• Actively attend team meetings and give updates to management.

• Undergraduate degree in a Business, IT, or Engineering discipline with 7+ years relevant experience.
• Postgraduate degree in a Business, IT, or Engineering discipline with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Know Boolean Logic and hold knowledge of software programming principles and concepts.
• Intermediate knowledge of DellEMC products: Server, CI/HCI, Storage, Data Protection, or Networking.
• Must possess problem solving skills and an eye for detail to be able to put solutions into a tangible form.
• Motivated, energetic, and flexible.

• Team Leadership experience
• Project Management experience
