Job Description

  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Creates and aggregates requirements from all stakeholders.
  • Maintain a prioritized, ready-to-work backlog with an appropriate mix of new features, feature enhancements, and bugfixes.
  • Work with business stakeholders to define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Contribute to the Planning, execution and review of each sprint.
  • Works with the team to set sprint goals
  • Organize and facilitate sprint and release planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demo, reviews and retrospectives and other scrum ceremonies. Champion lightweight process that maximizes ownership, output, and team satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and teams
  • Motivate the team with a clear, elevating goal
  • Evaluating product progress at each iteration
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Collaborate with QA and Customer Support teams to replicate, understand, and prioritize resolution of customer issues
  • Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Follow our competitors and the industry
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends and help the team implement those best practices.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner for minimum of 5 year(s)
  • Experience in requirements management, backlog management, prioritization, release planning
  • Experience in customer management, negotiation, understanding customer voice
  • Experience working with U.S customers or partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Attention to details
  • Able to understand the market, the customer and the business to make sound decisions.
