Own product areas and lead the test effort of one or more features.Work with the engineering team during the feature design and implementation phases to develop:Test methodology (designing the test approach) to test the feature end-to-end.Test plans.Automation framework developmentAutomate new feature test cases end to end along with the feature developmentManual use-case driven test cases end to end along with the feature developmentExecuting and maintaining automation/manual regression testsCollaborate with other testing members, developers, technical writers, and customer solutions engineers to ensure the company delivers high quality products to our customers.Collaborating with Remote teamsExecute multiple iterations of the test plan through regression automation/manual suiteAnalyze failures and root cause issues, file defects, follow up with developers, documentation and other teams on the resolution.Monitor and manage continuous integration environment.Root causing the Field issues (Customer issues) and adding them to automationEssential RequirementsBS or MS in Computer Science or a related disciplineRequires 2-3 years experience in software testing in enterprise- class projectsExcellent knowledge of VMware virtualization and data protectionExcellent automation proficiency in language: Python, Shell scripting, Java, REST APIDomain Experience Excellent in at least one of the VMware technology stack: vSphere/vCenter advanced concepts, vRealize AutomationData Protection and Storage ConceptsTeam player who will enjoy performing multiple technical functions when neededExperience applying CI/CD testing to components under development and maintenanceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to thoroughly document the testing of new software and maintain documentation throughout the lifecycle (i. e. Test Specification Documents, Test Plans, use case driven scenarios, etc. ),
