The engineer that fills this role will have the following responsibilities:Engineer quality software that integrates technologies within the storage ecosystem.Work with product managers and engineering teams to understand use cases, features, and test objectives.Identify manual and/or automated test concepts and develop detailed test plans.Collaborate with geographically distributed team and keep stake holders updatedDeploy and configure test environments, execute test cases, track related defects, and analyze and deliver test results.Follow Agile methodology and Scrum processes.Responsible for owning test architecture of product features and modules. This includesUnderstanding of the feature / moduleCreating test plan and strategyDesigning of tests and scenariosResponsible for owning test configurations. This includes -Ensuring round the clock usage of test resourcesOptimization of test scenarios and test casesEssential Requirements3 5 years of experience in software quality engineering.Hands on experience in configuring SAN environmentsExperience in troubleshooting SAN devices and deployments.Deploying and troubleshooting Windows / Linux and VMWare environmentsUnderstanding of iSCSI and FC data protocolsShould be able to analyze requirements and arrive at use cases and test scenariosExperience shell scripting and interfacing with REST APIs.Experience working with automation and orchestration platforms.Experience with test automation in an agile environment.Experience using the Scrum process.Desirable RequirementsFamiliar with the Atlassian suite of tools (Bit Bucket, Confluence, Jira) and GIT.Experience in Data Center and Storage/SAN domain with basic knowledge of Storage Arrays, FC Switches, Host platforms (Physical and Virtual) technologies preferred,
