Job Description

  • Responsible for providing requirements and specifications for the automation of test cases. Accountable for delivery of subsystem, anticipate issues and addresses proactively.
  • Contribute to test automation activities through coding/programming in current languages.
  • Fully competent in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a test environment, including necessary equipment, configuration, and software. Demonstrated skill with developing appropriate test methodologies. Fully competent in the use of necessary tools and applications.
  • Provides solutions for wide range of complex problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions, under only limited direction.
  • Authors and executes test cases and testing methodology for automated and manual tests.
  • Understands and adheres to cost/delivery/quality targets established during regression and testing phase.
  • Knowledge and wide application of engineering principles, theories, and concepts, and working knowledge of other related fields.
  • Develops new test methodologies or processes, re-evaluates existing processes. Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Represents the organization on project teams and may perform technical project leadership roles. Sphere of influence is likely to extend outside of work group or department.
  • General understanding of business environment. Fosters teamwork and collaboration within and across work groups.
Experience and Skills Needed:Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Software Qualification.
  • Strong expertise in test automation, Exposure to Test Framework and Techniques.
  • Proven expertise in the integration of automation test cases into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good knowledge in SDLC and in Software Testing life cycle
  • Ability to understand the requirements and provide estimation by applying any estimation techniques
  • Ability to understand the requirements and provide effective test artifacts and Solutions
  • Ability to communicate clearly the needs to the internal & external cross functional teams
  • Ability to drive the Test Life Cycle practices in a project / module
  • Ability to troubleshoot the issues and provide solutions with the functional & domain knowledge
  • Cross-Functional skill; Communication skills; Problem solving skills.
Desired Skills:
  • eGRC domain knowledge
  • General knowledge of Dot Net, MS SQL, Any scripting language (perl / python / shell).
  • Prior experience in writing unit test cases.
  • Security testing techniques
  • RSA Archer product knowledge and ability to create Archer Solution
Education:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
