Job Description

  • Integrating different Vendor SSDs and HDDs into DellEMC storage systems and servers by carrying out extended System Integration test cases
  • Test and validate SAS & SATA SSDs/HDDs and also NVMe SSDs drive firmware features and become knowledgeable in these protocols
  • Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues to identify the root cause, communicate to supplier and coordinate firmware rollouts for field implementation
  • Execute storage platform level and bench level performance testing for HDDs and SSDs and share results with cross functional groups within DellEMC
  • Carry out platform specific QA test cases prior to field release of drives with shippable firmware
  • Work in a worldwide team environment and collaborate with different cross functional groups on technical and tactical issues within DellEMC
  • Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
  • Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope. Uses judgment within defined practices and procedures
  • Works under normal supervision. Follows established directions. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy
  • Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives
