Skills

Good knowledge about business and process know-how in line with Automation & Control industry
Comprehensive process know-how in one of the domains viz. Industrial Automation and Building Automation
Skilled at understanding and analyzing the trends in Automation & Control industry (specifically in one of the domains viz. Industrial Automation and Building Automation)
Skilled at crafting the overall solution (bringing along sales perspective) for the customer s business need
Abreast with the latest technologies in Automation & Control industry such as IoT, Cyber Security, Cloud, SOA, OPC, B2MML, etc.
Good knowledge of industry standards such as MESA, ISA S88, ISA S95, ASHRAE, etc.

Desired Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to discuss complex technology with a variety of audiences
Technical knowledge of automation products and exposure to Automation & Control industry
Technical knowledge of software development life cycle, software development tools & technologies, Automation & Control
Mentoring skills ability to build, groom, and lead a team

Experience:

At least 15 years of experience
At least 10 years of experience in Automation & Control industry
At least 5 years of experience in one of the domains viz. Industrial Automation and Building Automation
At least 3 years of experience as Solutions Architect
At least 2 years of experience in software development and associated services
At least 2 years of pre-sales experience

Education:

B.E. in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication / Computer Science

Responsibilities:

Domain expert for multiple projects in Automation & Control industry
Participate during sales cycle, project scoping and initiation
Participate in identification of new business or technological trends / opportunities to investigate and develop
Provide domain expertise in architecting overall solution for the development of software solutions / services
Contribute to the development of proposals and responses to RFPs (Request For Proposals)
Act as a domain consultant to clients and internal development teams
Share experience / knowledge to help solve complex technical problems
Own and deliver solution for engagements helping Sales Teams with domain expertise and participating in key client meetings, workshops, and due diligence activities
Disseminate Automation & Control industry information through whitepapers, research reports, publications, trainings, technical notes, etc.
Participate in key seminars, symposiums, external forums
