Job Description

To lead HPE into this future, the Ezmeral Container Workload Solutions Engineering Team is looking for an experienced solutions engineer to join our team.As a solutions engineer, you will be responsible for driving design and development of solutions and automation of the platform on HPE Infrastructure. This role is multi-disciplinary, requiring strong technical background in Kubernetes, expertise in hardware, Virtualization and infrastructure automation tools. You will be responsible for delivering cutting edge infrastructure solution working collaboratively with other engineering teams in a global workforce.Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, automation and performance testing of Containers solution
  • Collaboration across a global team with engineering, development and product management to build Containers solution
  • Responsible for driving user stories and executing to program schedules using Agile
  • Review / QA of work within the team - including reviewing code, processes and documents created within the team
  • Leads multiple project teams of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Collaborate with cross functional and globally remote teams for successful project completion.
  • Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
  • Thorough documentation of steps used to implement the solutions requested (and these should be delivered in the context of standardized HPE document templates)
  • Deliver high quality process and service delivery improvement on these solutions, to drive better productivity, quality and outcomes of value for customers.
Education and Experience Required:
  • BE/B.TECH in Computer Science from leading engineering institutions in India/abroad.
  • 8-12 years of hands-on development experience building complex software applications
Must-have skills
  • Hands-on experience with developing complex solutions using Docker and other container technologies
  • Proficient in Container orchestration tools like OpenShift, Kubernetes and Swarm
  • Strong working experience in Linux
  • Expertise in Python and infrastructure as a code scripting like Ansible and Terraform
  • Knowledge in Hybrid Cloud domain
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated Agile SCRUM development experience and expertise
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desirable
  • Knowledge on HPE Server platforms, Networking and Storage and HPE management technologies (OneView)
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure (preferably HPE products) and platform/workload automation
  • Experience in applying scripting automation skills in configuration management tool development across HPE Converged Systems / Integrated solutions, or other vendor server, storage, and networking components
