Provide technical support in configuring and managing Solaris and Linux servers to support large databases and applications- Provide technical support in configuring and managing Solaris 11 and Linux (RHEL, OEL, AMAZON Linux) Support- Provide technical support for Sun Super Cluster system and Linux VM/Physical servers.- Monitoring and Troubleshooting- Mange vendors and Work with vendor (Oracle, Redhat, AWS, etc) to fix the hardware and UNIX/Linux issues- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills - Strong writing and oral communication skills, and analytical skills.- Ability to interact within all levels of the organization, manager, directors.- Work collaboratively as part of a team providing technical guidance, strategy, and direction.- 7+ years solid hands on experience in Solaris or Linux Server environments- Expertise in Solaris 11, RHEL 6/7, OEL 6/7 and Amazon Linux- Experience in develop, build, install, configure, and maintain Solaris/Linux environments- Excellent experience of Linux / Solaris Zones and LDOM configurations- Experience in applying patches/firmware on Solaris and Linux servers- Experience and Good understanding of Virtualization technologies, like VMWare, Nutanix. - Experience and Good understanding of AWS Cloud services and hands-on experience.- Should have experience in managing VM/Physical Linux servers- Experience in handling NFS, Linux File system issues- Knowledge in Networking like TCP, VLAN, Trunk, SSH, etc.- Expertise in Shell/Perl script will be added advantage - Experience in Automation and DevOps- Candidate willing to work on flexible time and weekend (if required)- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills - Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures- Good knowledge in Incident, Change, Problem management systems,
