Job Description

  • Manages and continuously enhances the capabilities within Data Protection solutions.
  • Makes recommendations to improve maturity of existing HSM tools & capabilities improve protection
  • Coordinate solution implementation, advisory, problem management, change control and incident response.
  • Excellent collaborator with business teams, infra teams, security operations and offers technical guidance
  • Provides simple solutions to a variety of complex technical problems.
  • Documentation of security infrastructure, implementation, operational manuals and developing configurations to meet new business requests
  • Support and guidance to others within the team and across the function as needed
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in order to define and implement complex projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact at all levels of the Fidelity organization, from senior executives to technical experts
  • Day-to-day management of HSM devices for our customers with a particular focus on Thales PayShield series HSMs (and can include other vendors such as SafeNet)
  • Handles HSM related projects and activities
  • Troubleshooting HSM interactions with all relevant internal applications
  • Follow strict audit and compliance procedures for all HSM activity
  • Document all new procedures and make sure they follow best practices/audit guidelines
  • Responsible for all key exchanges with external partners
  • Update and maintain all legacy documentation
  • Shared technical responsibility for all HSM upgrades, key exchanges and audit investigations
  • Knowledge of Building HSM Governance Framework to manage varied types of HSMs & their operations
Our Ideal Candidate
  • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive Data Protection experience with at least 3 years in delivering enterprise solutions
  • Minimum 6-to-10 years experience in evaluating, installing configuring, setting up HSMs
  • Highly entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication and an unrelenting drive to success and win
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation s goal. Exudes confidence and will roll-up his/her sleeves to drive success
  • Able to get things done in a quick-paced environment. Be transparent and open around what doesn t work and what does
  • Expertise and strong Technical skills in HSMs, PKI & Key management and related topics
  • Expertise and strong Technical skills in Integrating HSMs with Key management and related topics
  • Demonstrated mandatory expertise in below areas:
    • Payshield/SafeNet PaymentHSMs/Gemalto & other HSMs including General Purpose HSMs
    • Integrating HSMs with payment applications and non payment applications
    • Managed, serviced, liasoned with HSM vendors for evaluation, troubleshooting & patching/servicing both PaymentHSMs and General Purpose HSMs
    • Strong conceptual understanding of Symmetric and Asymmetric key based cryptogrphy including PKI and X.509 certificates
    • Understanding of protocols like KMIP and PKC#11
  • Keen understanding of national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry cybersecurity (NYDFS, FINRA, MAS, GDPR, etc.)
  • Must have good knowledge on FIPS standards related to HSMs & CommonCriteria

  • Relevant information security industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security Essentials
  • Demonstrate organizational values in decision making and inspire, retain and lead a team of high performers
  • Cyber security certifications (such as CISSP and CISM)
