Job Description

Exabeam is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Software Engineering (Infrastructure) team, supporting sustaining and next generation products/services. As part of our Infrastructure software team you will have an opportunity to make a huge impact in product deployment automation for on-prem & SaaS environments. You are a strong software engineer who is passionate about large-scale systems. You care about producing clean, elegant, maintainable, robust, well-tested code and infrastructure; you enjoy collaborating with others to come up collectively with the best possible solution. You have experience with performance, scalability, and reliability issues of large 24x7 systems. This position is full-time and is based in our main office in Foster City, CA.Responsibilities:

    • Handling all aspects of our appliance infrastructure from the OS Kickstarting, upgrading, security, deployment of software packages, and tooling.
    • To provide the foundation for running our next generation platforms.Product deployment automation & Infrastructure as code
    • Use data to understand the availability, reliability, and sustainability of our infrastructure. 24x7 Customer support.
    • Actively engage insystems hardening and compliance(STIG/CIS) enablement automation
Requirements:
    • Given the nature of work on initiatives for our federal contracts,US Citizenship is required
    • Deep understanding of Linux OS, preferably CentOS& Alpine
    • Linux Network Configuration and Security
    • SSL and Cryptography experience
    • Strong Bash and Python scripting experience
    • OS Level Virtualization (e.g. Docker)
    • Distributed systems
    • Troubleshooting skills
    • Strong Automation Skills (Python, Ansible,Golang,etc)
    • Communicate well, enthusiastically engage with your teammates in group problem solving without an ego
    • B.S. Computer Science or related technical field
Nice to have skills:
    • Dev-Ops skills experience with orchestration tools (e.g. Ansible,Salt)
    • Java or Scala coding experience
    • Experience creating Kickstart and OVAs
    • CI Experience (E.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)
    • FedRAMP & Common Criteria Certification Experience
