Job Description

    Devops Engineer / Consultant Essential Requirements (Yellow shaded parts are mandatory)
    • Experience of Agile Methodologies.
    • Strong DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code experience of 8 years or above
    • Expertise in Puppet Labs or Ansible
    • Expertise in Terraform, Hashicorp Vault & Foreman
    • Expertise in Windows & Unix Operating Systems
    • Expertise in network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS,HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
    • Expertise in Build tools like Jenkins to build re-usable release pipelines, release and configuration management tools like Chef/Puppet/Ansible platforms (any one is mandatory)
    • Scripting Skills: Strong Scripting (e.g. Python, Shell or PowerShell any one is mandatory) and Automation skills like CMDB discovery mechanisms
    • Expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, Virtual SAN, Virtual Switches & Security Systems (good to have)
    • Expertise in VMware vRealize Automation and VMware vRealize Orchestration (good to have)
    Desirable Requirements
    • Experience on tools like Dockers, Kubernetes, will be an added advantage
    • Excellent hands-on knowledge on Jira or ServiceNow or Remedy platform
    • Experience of web service technologies (preferably REST/JSON based).
    • Experience with Microservices architecture.
    • Experience working in a development process employing continuous delivery.
    • Good understanding of object-oriented design patterns.
    • Experience in using Terraform to automate deployment in the multi-stage environments.
    • Agile practitioner, familiar with extreme programming, test-driven development, pairing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and related techniques
    • Experience with Cloud Foundry / AWS / Public Cloud
