Job Description

The Senior Master Data Analyst is part of a global data team who establishes and follows procedures that maintain the integrity of data for master data in SAP. The Senior Master Data Analyst possesses a domain expert with knowledge of SAP transaction systems and process, with specialized knowledge of Master Data management processes and Governance practices; broad understanding of the supply chain from the customer order to shipment; the development and implementation of technical functionality to meet business requirements along with preparing documentation and training for master data procedures.

  • Participates in day-to-day maintenance of master data, including entry and review.
  • Drive projects for Master Data improvement to support the business
  • Representing the Master Data Team Lead in meetings as assigned.
  • Assists the Master Data Team Lead in maintaining master data governance processes from definition through to execution and continuous improvement.
  • Assists MD Team Lead with regular compliance reviews against policies and standards.
  • Coordinating with Data owners and other related functions.
  • Participating in the development of system and process transition and implementation plans.
  • Provides expert knowledge and guidance to the businesses for specific master data objects.
  • Assesses and assists with management of data structures and processes.
  • Maintains master data documentation: policies, procedures, forms and training.
