Within the Infrastructure Managed Services at Dell EMC, we are looking for a Engineer , Service Delivery to join our team in PuneJob Summary: The role will be expected to work in a positive and collaborative fashion with fellow team members, senior engineering/architect staff, vendors, and customers. The Infra Delivery Specialist will assist with process maturation, development, technical standards creation, and drive operational excellence through consistent delivery and best practices. This role will also include the core fundamentals of day-to-day operations, based off the ITIL v3 methodology.Key Responsibility:

  • The ability to know when to escalate a problem to ensure issues resolve in a timely manner.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills as most of the communication are with US counterparts through emails and phone conversations.
  • Apply upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary
  • Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment
  • Document and maintain the application standard operating procedures SOP.
  • Vulnerability management.
  • Audit coordination with Internal / External auditors.
  • Knowledge with scripting language is recommended.(PowerShell, Batch script, Java script)
  • Knowledge of the technical aspects of hardware/software subject matter.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and processes / experience with Service now or any other ticketing tool.
  • Infrastructure support team candidates are expected to work in 24*7 rotational shifts.
Essential Requirements:
  • 4+ year background experience with General Infrastructure enabled tools and services.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge on Vmware
  • Strong hands-on knowledge on Windows and Linux Operating systems.
  • Hands-On knowledge on SCCM
  • Knowledge on EMC products & technologies like VNX, Avamar
  • Understanding of Basic routing and switching.
  • Understanding of site to site VPN (IPSec).
  • Understanding of TCP and UDP port numbers.
  • Experience on Active Directory user and group management.
  • Knowledge on Citrix XenApp and Session Management.
  • Experience on Group Policy Management.
  • Experience on operating system Patching using different tools.
  • Periodic user access reviews and maintenance.
  • Experience on Citrix application management and troubleshooting.
  • Team player, positive attitude, good communicator, friendly personality able to work in a multicultural environment
Desirable requirements:
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred
  • ITIL v3 Foundation preferred
  • Redhat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
