DescriptionAs an Ad-IP System Engineer, you will join an Engineering team responsible for the development and maintenance of the Xandr-wide integration application, which receives, transforms and allows consumption of data between various 3rd parties and Xandr. Ad-IP (short for Advertising - Integration Platform) uses the latest technologies and programming languages and is an integral part of Xandr s core mission. Responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved in the development and/or maintenance of new or existing applications. Uses programming language and technology, writes code, completes programming and documentation, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Uses testing techniques, design, develop, analyze test plans and strategies, write and execute test cases, and troubleshoot defects for applications. Develops data and environment strategies utilizing architectural skills and methodology to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs. Works within a SAFe Agile Scrum team. Communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and verbally, in one-on-one and group presentation situations. Identify opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or development within the platform that will support multiple business units.QualificationsEffective written and verbal communication skills with good analytical skills Experience with Python, Java and Unix shell programming languages Experience with relational databases Experience with Linux/UNIX Experience with CICD methodology Experience with ETL and API design patterns Additional background in the following are desirable: o API Development: Microservices, SOAP, AWS API Gateway o General Purpose Languages: Scala, Go o ETL Tools: Apache Airflow, Talend o Web Development : JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS o Databases: Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, Snowflake, Cassandra, DynamoDB o Process: SAFe Agile, Onsite-Offshore model working experience o Cloud Environments : AWS, Azurea Requires 3-5 years of experience as a software developer Bachelors degree, or comparable experience Must be flexible to work in 1 to 10 pm work timings,
