Job Description

  • Develops, codes, tests and debugs new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity.
  • Has good understanding of business application.
  • Works with technical staff to and independently understand problems with software and resolve them.
  • Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • May assist in development of software technical documentation.
  • Demonstrates software.
  • Designs and codes moderately complex applications using routine and/or advanced technology.
  • May create optimization programs to resolve problems.
  • May design and build prototype applications.
Required Skills:
  • Classes, Objects, Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction and Encapsulation
  • Advanced C++ like C++ 11/14/17, STL (The Standard Template Library) template.
  • VC++, MFC, COM, DCOM, ATL programming skills
  • Familiar with Design Patterns
  • Multithreading, Synchronization or IPC, SOLID Principles.
  • Understanding of TDD (Test Driven Development) practices and experience with CPP Unit Testing.
  • Experience in XML/Web Services technologies.
  • Hands on experience on JNI.
  • Hands on experience on SQL queries (DDL, DML) for relational databases (Oracle, SQL) along with PLSQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux/Solaris operating systems.
  • Experience in Agile Development.
  • Experience with GIT repository.
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal.
  • Optional Middleware Services like Tuxedo
  • Familiar with C++ profiler and sanitizer.
  • Knowledge of scripting language (shell script) on Linux/Unix.
