Job Description

  • Propose innovative solutions, tools, frameworks, automation, and processes to be used by the team.
  • Analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features, and functionality.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Collaborate and participate with the web and app frontend development team.
  • Developing and maintenance of application backend services and the database design and configuration.
  • Being accountable for the continuous integration and deployment of applications including monitoring and incident reporting.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge to analyze complex problems and make an informed decision.
  • Ensure essential security procedures are followed in every stage of software development.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • 4+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.
  • An excellent demonstration of Object-Oriented Design concepts, Agile practices
  • Java Technologies: Spring and Springboot, Web Services, XML
  • Confident in all Spring suite of products (Spring Cloud, Spring Config, Spring Security, Spring Android, Spring Vault, etc.,)
  • Build and deployment production-grade applications with logging mechanisms
  • Implementation of Design Patterns in practice
  • Database Development: Postgres/ Oracle / MySQL
  • Exposure to Microservices Architecture and Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Familiar with cloud technologies and SaaS services (Google Cloud)
  • Experience in defining and implementing test strategies to improve quality
  • Experience in Git or other distributed Source Control Management systems
  • Passion for learning cutting edge technologies and quickly learning new concepts.
  • Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones remotely.
