Job Description

ROLE SOLUTION MANAGERKey Objective of the Role - Coordinate execution with multiple teams to ensure timely submission of bids/ RFP response / Solution Documents.Success Metrics

  • Timeliness & Quality of Solutions / Bids
    • Timeliness = met date, % scheduling review compliance
    • Quality = % docs submitted vs approved; re-use of Best Practice when relevant; % repeatable solution components
Responsibilities
  • Work with internal teams (Solution architects, Sales, Leads, Finance, Delivery) to ensure completeness of compliant bid
  • Works with external teams (technology/not strategic partners) for timely receipt of details to submit complete bids
  • Assists in creating technical solutions for Digital workplace practice as a part of a bid RFP or RFI responses for large enterprise customers
  • Candidate will assist in creation of solutions documents and other artefacts for the Workplace Pursuits in the following variants: Service Desk, Deskside Support, Messaging and Mobility technologies.
Technical Depth/Breadth
  • Understands Microland s proactive service offerings in detail, solutions/ways of working & benefits
  • Has deep knowledge of what each internal Microland team require to process & approve bid (info, hot buttons, etc.)
  • Intimately aware of solution templates to be leveraged, but also of best practices that exist within ML and when to use them
  • Detailed understanding of partner ecosystem ML leverages for solutions
Key Skills and Capabilities
  • Capable of interacting with client to discuss, create, defend solutions that are at basic level for service line
  • Very strong capabilities on solution writing, document structure, Microsoft word, excel and Powerpoint.
  • Capable of reaching out to partners to request/secure quotes for bids
  • Ability to press partners to accelerate required info as needed
  • Industry knowledge is a plus but not required
Experience - Total years of IT Industry experience 8-12 Years,
