The Deals team, as part of the IN Customer Experience team provides customers on A.in best in class experience to get more value out of their spends through Deals and Promotions. We will deliver this by deeply understanding customer profiles and interests, and their shopping experiences.Customer-centricity, scale and automation is at the center of everything we do at Amazon. We are looking for an experienced, customer-obsessed marketing leader to deliver these customer experiences. This leader is passionate about delivering delightful, engaging customer experiences and can also work successfully with Product Management and Machine Learning teams to design and build it. This role will partner closely with Category Management teams, UX designers, other Marketing Managers as well as other internal stakeholders across the company for driving the business.This role will deliver a mix of new customer facing Amazon initiatives, and incremental CX improvements to present customers their most loved and relevant deals, leading to increased adoption, customer acquisition and engagement via deal properties, and providing sellers the right customer audience to drive demand for their products.This role will be responsible for:DEFINING VISION AND CUSTOMER NEED - Set vision and direction. Influence across entire organization. Own development and communicate the long-term vision and goals that drive the working backwards strategies for the Deals Marketing initiatives. Understand domain and competitive landscape; may lead company-wide decision-making w.r.t Deals marketing.CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT - Define customer goals and business requirements for deals marketing initiatives. Focus at a customer cohort level to deliver the best in class experience for each cohort. Ensure implementation is aligned with business goals and requirements; make necessary adjustments.LAUNCH - Own the GTM plan for not only the marketing initiatives but also for Deals Product enhancement and launches, and deliver results that ensure the customer and business goals are met in operational launch plans. Evaluate launch outcomes and reintegrate learning into the organization and product plan.OPERATE - Monitor and respond to customer feedback. Continuously make operational improvements.EFFICIENCY Ensure that the most relevant deals are created and presented to customers, to drive Deals throughputs, with improved ROI for sellers and brands. Clarifying the role, external positioning, KPIs for existing deal properties Drive demand and performance of deals through continuous improvement; demand gen - onsite marketing, outbound marketing Create / adapt deal properties to align with customer lifecycle deliverables - write PR FAQs, launch, manage and monitor performance Run experiments on Today s Deals page to innovate / improve experiences for both BAU and during marquee events like Amazon Great Indian festival Continuously improve deals investment ROI and drive monetization, Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs 5+ years of marketing experience 8+ years of experience, with at least 4 years of Marketing Management in leading B2C technology companiesMBA from premier B-schoolExperience in Consumer-facing sectors such as Retail, FMCGExposure to machine learning capabilities and modelsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy and present complex information clearly and concisely.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of product.High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically.Collaborative working style. Must work well in a team environment.
