We are hiring test engineers for Enterprise Switching team in Bangalore who will be part of teams success by ensuring high product quality for our Enterprise Switching platforms and releases. Strong technology expertise, Skills for debugging problems, familiarization with test automation are required for this role.Bachelor/Masters with 10+ years of related experience in Ethernet Switching technology and Networking.Who Youll Work WithQA background; test infrastructure and Automation skills requiredScripting experience (Perl, TCL, Python etc) is significant.Experience with Linux, other embedded OS experience strongly desiredGood HW, SW & Operating System fundamentals surrounding the building blocks of Embedded systems - able to work hands on with hardwareExcellent communicator, both written and verbal - able to independently and clearly communicate issues with other as well as be able to provide feedback and suggest resolutionsStrong Analytical skills with a mindset that questions assumptions; with a willingness to continuously help improve processes and proceduresAbility to work independently with a dream to share knowledge with peers to improve the quality of the team on the wholeWho You AreLooking for the expertise in below,In-depth knowledge in some or all of the following Ethernet switching, QoS, L2/L3, security, network management, Encapsulation protocols like MPLS / MPLS-TE, GRE, LISP, EoMPLS, VPLS, MGRE, VXLAN, LDP/mLDP, L2 and Routing Protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, RIP, ISIS, etc) - Multicast protocols (e.g. IGMP, MLD, PIM SM/DM/SSM, etc).You should have good experience in both manual testing and script developmentShould have exposure to system testing / large network environmentsExposure to working on customer issues and handling field queriesProgramming experience in C/C++, TCL/Expect, Perl, or scripting languages.Familiar with a wide range of test and traffic generation toolsCCNP/CCIE certifications useful,
