As you work to make a real impact on the business and the world, we ll work to help you become a better you!We are looking to hire Sr. R&D Associate, Processing for for Bars, Skin Cleansing based in BangaloreProcess Development for Bars and New Formats and Set up of Advanced Manufacturing Centre for Bars, Skin Cleansing GDC

  • Support creation of novel process & production routes for existing and new technologies for bars
  • Support process development for new formats as part of GDC Mumbai
  • Support design of process flow diagrams & equipment to deliver full-scale production
  • Preparation and use of engineering drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, General Arrangements, mechanical). Close coordination with Supply chain & U&ES to agree and close the final recommendations.
  • Process Safety - Ensuring processing R&D maintains compliance with Unilever and external standards
  • Executing main plant trials, including analysis and reporting
  • Support delivery of EPM, Specifications, design locks, technology transfer documents in time for proper process implementation
  • Working with the Digital R&D team, Process analytics & Modelling team to develop and implement simulation models for skin cleansing bars and new formats to ensure easy scale up
  • Work with the Operations team to work on new equipment and making them digitally enabled for modelling and digital, data capture and simulation
  • Responsible for Digital Asset Mapping of Skin Cleansing Bar factories across the world, working with Supply Chain
  • Working on Oils and fats and Soap processing on global projects
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Background in Chemical Engg, and experience of working in factory
  • Prior strong experience in process development, preferably in soaps
GENERAL SKILLS
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams, Supply Chain and 3P manufactures and equipment manufacturers

  • Basic Digital & Simulation Skills
