Job Description

  • SUSE Linux
  • SUSE Manager
  • SUSE CAAS Platform
Secondary skills:
  • Terraform
  • Python and any scripting experience
Necessary Knowledge:
  • Very good knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
  • Python or any other programming knowledge is good too
  • Knowledge on Spacewalk ( Redhat Satellite/ SUSE Manager).
  • Good Understanding of Patching the Linux Servers( Critical/High/Medium/Low )
  • Troubleshooting skills on Linux is a
  • Should have the capability to automate the Manual Tasks.
  • Knowledge on Containers would be an added advantage.
  • Ready to learn, adapt and groom in skills regarding all the technologies around linux.
  • Knowledge on Openstack would be an added advantage.
  • Would have done one or two Linux Certifications(Redhat/SUSE)
  • Knowledge on any Configuration Management tool ( Saltstack, Ansible knowledge also works out).
  • Knowledge on Linux KVM or Vmware Virtualization would be an added advantage too.
  • Very good English language skills
  • MS Office & Sharepoint skills
Specific Knowledge:
  • Excellent skills in SLES Operating System
